Almost 7 years ago, I was a stay-at-home mom who loved my life, but desired an outlet for my pent up creativity. I had always dabbled in jewelry creation, but my designs were reserved for myself or for gifts for my friends and family. It was at this time that I decided to let the creativity flow and founded Brooke Hazelton Designs.
From there, my tiny little company grew and grew and grew. Somewhat new to the game and unsure if going to market after market was feasible for my family, I turned over control to a sales rep for a short time. I soon realized that relinquishing control wasn’t the way I wanted to run my business, I missed meeting the great souls who loved my jewelry as much as I loved making it for them! What I also learned, though, was that I was beginning to get in over my head and needed help if I were to continue on. Enter my saviors, my mom and my sister, who stepped in to offer relief and support and their expertise in jewelry design and production knowledge.

Bridget Sather, my OLDER sister, and her husband Nathan live in Gary, Minnesota where Nate farms and together are raising 4 children, Dylan, Jonah and twins Lauren and Steffen. She is a substitute teacher, a volunteer EMT and incrediby active in her community. We affectionately call her “Sweet Tart” because she's mostly sweet with just a little tart thrown in! She’s the workhorse of the trio who pushes through to get things done. Bridget is very well known for the beautiful and meticulous work she does with our soldered and glass pieces. Her work is exquisite and second to none!
Lynne Dahl, who lives 'up north' on a beautiful lake near Bemidji, Minnesota, is our
mom and who we lovingly call "Sugar Momma". She is a paramedic/EMS Educator with a career that has spanned 25 years. She also has an incredible eye for detail and is the designer for all of our Vintage Typewriter Jewelry as well as our glass bauble charms. Her summers are filled with flea markets, auctions and rummaging through dusty old garages and attics on a quest to find her beloved vintage typewriters. However, only non-working machines are used for our unique vintage typewriter jewelry.
My husband Scottie and I reside in Fargo, North Dakota with our 3 very active children, Ava, Sophie, and Bode. I have been given the title of "Head Sweetie", and I create and design all of our fine stamped sterling silver pieces. Scottie is a college football coach so there are many, many football games in our life.
Our jewelry is all handcrafted. We will customize any single piece with what is important in your life and precious to you...your children's names, your store name or slogan, your special day, your sports team, your favorite mantra. A favorite photo can be made into a necklace for that special person in your life. Our jewelry is simple and soulful, fun and funky, eclectic and edgy, blissful and beautiful and we proudly stand behind our work.
Because we now are 3 designers, working in 3 different studios, in 3 different locations, we saw the need to change our name to reflect this new "sweet" journey we have embarked upon together, hence ....Sweet Bliss Studios...
